Alert Technology at Contamination Expo 27-28th Sept

Alert @ Contamination Expo 2017

Alert Technology Ltd., developers of the ‘Asbestos ALERT’ Real Time Warning Device for airborne asbestos fibres, return to exhibit again at this year’s Contamination Expo at London’s ExCel.

Visit Alert on stand C4120 to discover how the company is progressing following the successful close of their recent investment ‘top up’ round. Alert successfully raised £1m between a private syndicate and via online investment platform SyndicateRoom. This first round of private investment will enable Alert Technology to further expand their team, produce a limited number of sample units for further robust commercial field trials and to continue the development of their life saving technology through to early production and commercial launch.

The ‘Asbestos ALERT’ device remains the only known technology capable of distinguishing carcinogenic airborne asbestos fibres from other non-asbestos fibres in real time. It offers a vital early warning and first line of defence against prolonged exposure to those likely to disturb asbestos during the course of their work.

The Contamination Expo provides the perfect platform for Alert to help raise awareness, meet contamination professionals and suppliers from across the UK and EU as the exhibition showcases the latest in modern strategies, techniques and technologies currently used across the industry.

Alert’s scientific advisor, Dr Chris Stopford, will deliver one of 120 expert-led seminars to the 2,500 contamination professionals estimated to attend the Contamination Expo on 27th & 28th September.

Dr Chris Stopford - Alert Technology

Dr Stopford’s seminar on the light scattering technology behind the ‘Asbestos ALERT’ device will take place in Theatre 12 at 13:15 on Wed 27th September 2017.

The Expo features 150 supplier-exhibitors in six zones dedicated to six different sectors of the contamination field; this is the most comprehensive exhibition of its type in the world - and it’s free!

So whether you’re a professional working to prevent the contamination of our water, land or air - the technologies, designs and research shaping the sector’s future will be under one roof over two unmissable days.
